YOUR MISSION

How far will 2012 steps take you? Simply open your front door and start walking. All you have to do is count your paces and see where you end up.

To help you keep count, take 20 grapes or some other tasty snack. Eat one (and only one!) after every hundred paces, then start counting again from scratch. That way you don’t have to count up to a huge number. When all your 20 grapes are gone you’ve walked 2000 paces – just remember to finish off with 12 extra paces.

BONUS QUESTION

Gain lots of bonus points by making a Mission:Report and describing the route you took and where you ended up.

A map is probably best, but you can use anything you like. Take a photo of something interesting you saw on the way and send us that as well as your report.

Send us your report before you mark your mission as complete, and we’ll email you back with a secret code to unlock your bonus points.

This mission should be pretty safe, just remember to keep your eye on where you're going and make sure that you're aware of things like roads and lakes! You don't have to walk in a straight line remember!
