This is one of those missions that gives you the chance to get creative.

In Jubilee year, what does being Queen for a Day mean to you? Will you be extra specially nice to your subjects or will you choose to ask for even more special treatment than usual?

What we're doing...

This is a Challenge 2012 mission and everyone at The Workshop is taking part. We're taking the Queen for a Day mission and turning it into a fundraising extravaganza.

Every day leading up to the (real) Queen's Jubilee celebrations, two 'Queens' from The Workshop will 'Let them eat cake', a phrase famously said by Queen Marie Antoinette

Our Queens will bake a cake (or tarts, scones etc) and sell them for £1 each. Bargain! The money raised will be added to our overall Challenge 2012 fund.

Sponsor us

This mission is part of Challenge 2012, a campaign to raise money for two of the UK's most talented young divers. If you'd like to keep up with all our queen and cake related shenanigans, visit The Workshop website.

You can send us sponsorship money in one of three ways:
  1. Donate direct using the button below.
  2. Donate in person if you know you're going to see one of our brave explorers.
  3. Send a cheque to Challenge 2012, The Workshop, 28 Kenwood Park Road, Sheffield S7 1NF.
For more information about sponsorship, email iainbroome@theworkshop.co.uk and we'll get back to you quick pronto!

BONUS QUESTION

Fantastic baking skills!

Now to earn lots more points, email a picture of you and your cake, preferably while wearing a crown, to iain@missionexplore.net - we'll get back to you with a special code to unlock your points!

Keep your wits about you when using the oven - and make sure an adult knows what you are doing.

Risk overall: Low. This should be easy but take care.
