Your mission...

Middle Aged Monk

Imagine being a medieval monk and lead a procession through the ruins. Can you persuade others to join you?

Mission Information

These are the ruins of Leicester Abbey, which was founded around 1143, in what is known as the High Middle Ages. The Abbey was very rich and powerful but most of the monks would have led a simple life. To find out more about a monk's life in medieval times, click here.

Bonus Question!
The picture above is part of a memorial for a famous historical person. What is his name?
Mission Risk: Low

Low. This should be easy but take care.

Be careful not to trip over the walls during your procession!
