Mission Information
Hedgerows play a important role in the lives of lots of different British wildlife. A good hedgerow can provide food, shelter and a way to travel safely. Over twenty species of butterfly use hedgerows as a place to breed and one of Britain's rarest mammals, the dormouse, depends on hedgerows for food and shelter throughout the seasons. Mission Risk: Low
Low. This should be easy but take care.Take care when exploring the hedgerow not to sting yourself on nettles or poke your eyes out on a scratchy tree. Don't bother the wildlife - you're there to observe not disturb!
