Plants, animals and even people (especially little ones) can find it hard to communicate what they need. An advocate is someone who speaks on their behalf to protect their needs or wishes.

Tip: The best person to email will probably be the land owner. This could be your local government or a charity.

Most plants are safe but some will sting, spike, scratch or poison. If you don't know if a plant is friendly it's best not to touch it.
